Agreement

Using this site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. IGW may change them; the date above says when they last changed.

This site is informational

IGW is a spaceflight cinema company. This site publishes IGW's own films, photography and coverage alongside tools that read public spaceflight data and present it in one place.

Airspace and mission data on this site is a planning aid, not an authoritative source. It is not a substitute for the issuing authority's own publication, and it must not be used for flight planning, navigation, marine navigation, range safety or any operational decision. Before you fly or sail, check with the authority that issued the notice.

Every restriction shown here is a copy of a notice somebody else issued, read at the time the page states. A notice can be issued, amended, withdrawn or cancelled at any moment, and there will be periods when what IGW shows is behind what the authority has published. That has happened, it is written down in the corrections log, and it will happen again.

Times, altitudes, boundaries and countdowns are rendered as the source publishes them, at the precision the source publishes. Where IGW derives something rather than reading it, the page says so: an orbital position on the globe is propagated from a public element set and is an estimate, not telemetry.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site to break the law, or to help anyone else do so.

• Do not scrape, crawl, bulk-download or mirror the site or its data at a rate that degrades it for other people.

• Do not try to reach any part of the site, its accounts or its infrastructure that is not open to you, and do not probe, scan or test its security without written permission.

• Do not present IGW's data as official, or as though an authority had issued it.

• Do not remove or obscure IGW's watermarks, credits or provenance markings.

• Do not send anything through the site's forms that is unlawful or abusive, or that you do not have the right to send, and do not use them for unsolicited commercial messages.

IGW's own work

The films, photography, writing, design and code on this site are IGW's. What you may do with them without asking, and what needs a licence, is set out on the copyright page. Licences are granted by written agreement only, and licensing has its own page.

Purchases and the store

The IGW store runs on Shopify at shop.interstellargateway.com. The store pages on this site show that catalogue as the shop publishes it, and the moment you buy you are handed to the shop's own checkout. Your order, payment, shipping and any return or refund are governed by the shop's terms of service, refund policy and privacy policy, which are published on the shop, not by these terms.

Prices, sizes and availability shown on this site are read from the shop at the time the page states and can lag behind it. The price and availability shown at the shop's checkout are the ones that apply.

External sources and links

The data on this site comes from public sources IGW does not control and does not speak for. Their availability, their accuracy and their own terms are theirs. Links to other sites are for reference, and IGW is not responsible for what is on them.

Availability

The site is offered as it is. IGW does not promise that it will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and does not promise that a source it reads will answer. When usable source data are unavailable, the affected area remains empty.

No warranty, and limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and everything on it are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, IGW is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and where your local law does not allow these exclusions, they do not apply to you.

Indemnity, suspension and general terms

• If your use of the site in breach of these terms leads to a claim against IGW, you will cover IGW's losses, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from that claim.

• IGW may suspend or block access to the site, or any part of it, for anyone who breaches these terms or whose use puts the site or the sources it reads at risk, without notice and without liability.

• If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stands.

• If IGW does not enforce a term on one occasion, it has not given up the right to enforce it later.

• These terms, together with the privacy, copyright and trademarks pages they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and IGW about the use of this site. They do not cover a licence, a purchase or any other written agreement, each of which has its own terms.

• You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else. IGW may transfer them to a successor to its business.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes about them belong in the courts of that state. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away a protection your local law gives you that cannot be waived.
